At Candid Hearing, we are committed to providing clear, honest, and client-focused hearing care. By engaging with our services, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions, which are designed to ensure transparency and fairness.
1. Australian Government Hearing Services Program (HSP)
Candid Hearing will assist in assessing your eligibility for fully or partially funded hearing aids and services under the Australian Government Hearing Services Program (HSP).

Eligibility: Specific criteria apply. Our team will verify your eligibility for HSP benefits.

Fully Funded Hearing Aids: Eligible clients can access fully funded devices from the HSP-approved range.

Partially Funded Hearing Aids: Clients may choose upgraded models with a co-payment required at the time of fitting.

Maintenance Plan: HSP clients may opt for an annual maintenance plan (currently up to $50.40 per year), which covers batteries, earmold renewals, repairs, adjustments, tubing, wax guards, and cords.
2. Hearing Assessments

Comprehensive Hearing Assessments: Recommended if a more detailed evaluation is required. These are fully or partially funded for eligible HSP clients, subject to program conditions.

Free Hearing Screenings: Available to all adults aged 18 and above, offering a basic check for potential hearing loss.
3. Home Visit Appointments
Candid Hearing offers home visit appointments in select suburbs, subject to health, safety, and government restrictions (e.g., aged care facilities).

Fees: A call-out fee plus service fee applies for:

Private clients

DVA & OHS clients
-
DVA & OHS clients with a doctor’s referral or in nursing homes

WorkCover clients

Payment: Fees must be paid at least one day before the scheduled appointment.

Credit: Fees may be credited toward the purchase of a hearing aid at Candid Hearing’s discretion.

Fee Waiver: We reserve the right to waive fees at our discretion.

4. 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

Custom-Made Devices: Charges for custom moulds are non-refundable.

Refund/Exchange: Hearing aids may be exchanged or refunded within 30 days if returned in their original condition.

Exclusions: Refunds are not available for lost, damaged, or unreturned devices.

Refund Amounts: Exclude discounts, rebates, or third-party contributions.

Consultation Fees: A self-funded consultation fee may be deducted from the refund.
5. Price Match Guarantee
Candid Hearing may match the price of hearing aids if:

The quote is from a registered Australian hearing aid retailer.

Online-only quotes are excluded.

A formal written quote is provided.
6. General Conditions

These Terms & Conditions are governed by Australian law.

All services and promotions are subject to availability.

Candid Hearing reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue services or offers without prior notice.

Participation in any service or promotion implies acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
